Meaning:

“The Creation of the Persian Empire” is an abstract visionary painting based on the three basic principles of humanity from 4,000 years ago in Persia. One should practice Good Thoughts, Good Words, and Good Deeds. Zoroastrians believe in one  omniscient God, called “Ahura Mazda,” or “Farivahar, meaning “Wise Lord.” Ahura Mazda is the beginning and the end, the creator of everything which can and cannot be seen, the eternal, the pure, and the only truth.. 

Symbols:

This painting depicts the moment that Ahura Mazda created the universe. Iran’s map and a few artifacts from ancient times represent the rich culture of that period of time. The bull head column is a reminder of Persepolis. Fire represents the light of God, as well as the illuminated mind. Zoroastrians believe that fire is The supreme symbol of purity, and that maintain sacred fires in fire temples. All Zoroastrian rituals and ceremonies are performed in the presence of this sacred fire. 

History:

The writing at the top of the painting is in Old Persian cuneiform and a semi-alphabetic cuneiform script that was the primary script for the Old Persian language. They were mostly inscriptions from the time period of Darius the Great and his son Xerxes. The writing calligraphy is in Farsi and translated into English
